Title:
Siemens Regensburg - Leveraging MES to Elevate the Future of Manufacturing
Abstract:
Siemens' Regensburg facility produces millions of RCCB and MCB units annually. The Manufacturing Engineering System (MES) empowers operators to make informed, data-driven decisions, optimize workflows, and address bottlenecks proactively through analytics and visualization. To manage this vast output, the plant relies on a MES, which integrates seamlessly with automation systems, providing visibility. The MES empowers operators to make informed decisions, optimize workflows, and address bottlenecks proactively through advanced analytics and visualization. This data-driven approach has enabled the Regensburg plant to achieve new levels of efficiency, flexibility, and product quality. Looking ahead, Siemens plans to further leverage the MES to drive greater innovation, agility, and sustainability in its manufacturing.
